Didn't read the help, but it's supposed to be reversible.

Seems to be better, but as advised, you need some capable Hardware to run it.

Definition it's also related.
There are extensions to fix a selected one.

You can play toggleing On/OFF HW Acceleration at Opera Settings also.

But the extension seems good, so would be better.

I mean about h264ify.

Opera at its Store?
Maybe, check it out, but Chrome's is more extended,.

There is Magic Actions on both Stores.
Works fine.

The site has their selected, but at least on YouTube, has many, as I've seen, it depends on the resolutions.

Some downloaders allows you to download the videos in different format without conversion.

Then, some extensions would serve other formats as h264ify does.

Despite that, 480 would be also VP8/9 or now also AV1.
