Saved Login Infos Are Not Autofilled

I am currently using an LG-H930G with Android 9 on it. Version of Opera browser is 54.0.2672.49578
Here's a brief explanation of my problem. The passwords I save upon logging into a website are saved and stored, I checked it. However if I log out, the next time I go to that website, my saved Login information is not typed in automatically so I have to type everything once again. This is time consuming considering the websites I log in terminate the session after a short span of inactivivity. It's also annoying because I am used to not bothering with that in the past with other browsers. Does Opera not support this feature?
Also, I've tried every possible permutation by switching on and off the data saver and the ad-blocker.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance. Much love.

@look87 That linked issue is now closed and supposedly fixed, but I still have the problem with Opera 57.2.2830.52651 and Opera Beta 57.1.2830.52643 on Android 10.

@leocg, both issues are about password autofilling not working, but maybe the reason is different? I don't use password syncing, and only see the problem on some sites (where Chrome works). The passwords show up correctly and immediately in the saved passwords list. Only the autofilling is not working. The number of saved passwords is very small (13) after the last reinstall, but the problem persists. The version is now 58.2.2878.53403.

I have the same problem, I have the passwords correctly in the list of saved passwords but the autofill in some sites doesn't work
