@paultatarenko I submitted an update of Classic Tabs to Opera's addons site about ten months ago, and for whatever reason they won't publish it or even respond to me asking why it hasn't been published yet. I've long since given up on it ever getting published.

I do not plan to keep maintaining the extension, as Opera won't publish my updates and I mostly use Edge now. If anyone else wants to maintain it, feel free to fork it on GitHub.

Looks like i finally found the solution for Shift + Click problem.
I created simple script in Autohotkey which sends Ctrl + Click to Opera when you use Shift Click.
Not an ideal solution, but it's much easier for me, than trying to figure out all that Opera API stuff.
Also this script makes me kind of protected from any other "extension breaking" crap Opera developers may implement in future updates.

Why this suddenly needs permissions to clipboard, data, etc.? Has someone hacked this to harvest user info or something?

@spadija: I use to use Opera a very long time ago. I stopped using it when the multi-pane (viewing multi-tabs in one window) feature was removed. I am not a programmer or coder, in fact , I possess no technical skills on computing. I was just wondering if you remember this feature and could be instrumental in re-implementing it back into Opera.

Unfortunately, the extension no longer works in other work areas, i.e. the tab is only opened in the first area where you want it, in the second or third area unfortunately at the end.
