Reader View

@Opera-Comments-Bot I have switched to Opera and am very happy I gave Chrome the boot. I use it exclusively in all my devices two PCs and one smart phone, syncing of course among all three without a glitch. The one feature that is a disappointment is "Reader View". I love it and I want to use it as much as I can, but Opera seems to ..."drop" it after a few days, the extension is not visible at all and I simply do not know how to fix it. I keep enabling it and it simply won't come back and be visible again next to the address bar. I then remove and reinstall it from scratch and it will work for a few days but it will break down again. If you know what's going on and can help me to fix it please feel free to contact me. Thank you!

This app probably needs to be updated. This use to work great, but since the last two updates there been loading issues.

I wish this would work with "ePub Viewer" by Brian-girko. That would be huge.

Unable to open new links in reader mode. Error says extension needs chrome.tabs permission set in manifest

Very good for reading technical documentation, especially with custom CSS for code parts. Thank you.

The button has suddenly stopped working. The context menu "Switch to Reader View" still works, so it's not that the extension itself is broken, but its button in the toolbar does nothing.

Yes, I confirm. With Opera One the button in toolbar does nothing. Addon version 0.3.2

You only have english text to voice reader. You need to integrate Piper Voice Samples to be better...

In my earlier post I was not referring to "voice reader" but 'Reader View' which works fine with other languages as well. I frequently use it to clean up an article from flashy animations and annoying ads not only in English but also in French, German, Spanish, Italian AND Greek; the problem is NOT language availability but how to make the extension to ..."stay put" and not disappear after a few days. When it is there it works so well. But to me it appears as if at every update, Opera removes it?!?
