Disable Speed Dial?

Is there a way to completely disable Speed Dial?
I don't like it, and don't want it endlessly, mindlessly adding visited sites
to a new page.

@greycloud7 Nope, but you can hide it.

And it doesn't automatically add pages.

Goto the URL opera://settings/startPage and you can customize the start page.

Goto the URL opera://settings/onStartup and you can choose what opens on startup.
