How to get rid of the Google search engine in Opera? Why is Opera contaminated with the Google poison? I've used Opera for years but I'm sick of having to dance around the Google contamination...

Thanks! I've been avoiding it... But why is Opera forcing us to avoid the Satan it presents? Is there any browser we can trust?

@joedan Except for Edge/IE, for obvious reasons, almost all browsers get the most of their revenue from search engines, mainly Google.

lol, yeah some users of iron have a problem with Bing.

Which is slightly different as it says it's a private browser etc.

It's a fact of life.

Not sure what can be done really when someone allows into their house etc.

Actually Google is the best SE only things I dislike is the tracking I guess and the need to 'review' etc ...

I dislike all nosey b asterds I guess, you should see my neighbours.

The internet is very parasitic. Use it as it uses you.
