Why Opera have too many browsers?

  • I am confused about which to choose and which is perfect for me. Recently, when I open the opera.com in my android device it will be showing me three different browsers and I am confused which to choose out of them and I serve this same kind of experience for Desktop where you also serve three different browsers - Opera, Opera Neon, Opera R3.

My major consul is why you focus on multiple browsers instead of developing a single browser? I know you have a specific goal or purpose behind it but as the user, I can't find it so I would love to know it.

  • @iamrishishah Opera R3 is not a different browser and Neon was a one time release concept browser.

  • @iamrishishah For Android, there are Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera Touch, each with their own characteristics and targeting a specific public.

there's only way to understand what the opera wants and how much browser owned and operates by opera.

  • @leocg he knows there are differences, he specifically wants to know what they are. what is their defining characteristics you refer to, and what is the specific "public" that each caters to that you reference.
