Previously, I'd been able to rearrange the order of tiles in my Speed Dial on the start page. I can no longer move tiles within a Speed Dial folder, nor rearrange the order of folders on the Speed Dial start page.

Have I flipped a 'lock the start page' switch somewhere in my settings?

@clay5255 Take a look at Settings > Advanced > Start Page.

          Thanks for the reply.

I toggled all 10 options, from 'Hide search box' to 'Show news on start page.' No change.

Whether I try to move a tile or a folder, it just snaps back into place.

@clay5255 Not even the option to Automatically adjust the number of columns?

No change, but I just noticed something when closed / reopened Opera: I also can't move any icons on my desktop. I suspect the latest Windows update (last few days) may be the culprit.

I'll have to play around; thanks for your time and prompt attention.

It was a Windows problem (surprise!).

After a quick search on the problem, hitting the Esc key three times freed everything up, both on the desktop and the Opera Speed Dial.

                Thanks again for your suggestions.
