Dear All,
we have release an update to Opera Beta for Android.
Changelog for this update:
- chromium upgraded to version 32
- tablet UI
- long press menu on history item
- various stabilization fixesBasically, from now on Beta should be working as a real Beta (so, being ahead of Final branch, showing new features, having more bugs... ). So this version brings you newer chromium version and a showcase of additional feature in history view. You can now long press on selected item and open it again in new tab or delete just one single entry.
The update is now available in Google Play pending your approval on new permissions (needed for remote debuging - feature already known from Final branch).

I am having issues with a display bug for embedded elements :
beste-apps.chip.de/android/app/whatsapp-plus-android-app,cxo.55870537/
The YouTube video is far out of margin.
Issue occurs in all other versions of Opera browser too.

I can't believe this is still not fixed. Please, nooo, don't tell me that's not fixed.
I'll have to go back to Opera 15 too and hope there isn't a huge performance hit. There have been more than 3 updates between 16 where the issue was introduced and 19, I can't stand this any longer...Edit: I just tested myself and the bug is still there in Opera 19.
I'm back to 15.10 from the Opera FTP but already experiencing "oops cats" and text editing was way more buggier back then. -

Yeah Opera 15 text wrap was behaving much worse too (delays and fails) so I'm back to the latest stable (not that it isn't issue-free, I think text wrap causes page jumping to initial zoom location and also another issue where you lose the position where you zoomed because text above pushes the page down).
I hope we can see this problem fixed by Opera 19.1 or 20, or at least that tabs unloading is less aggressive by then.

Is there a place where you can download the beta version for people that don't have/use Google Play?
