The sidebar does not appear in Opera 63.0.3368.107 using Win10. I've tried the Reset button and restarted the browser.

              Try Ctrl+Shift+S.

Take the opportunity to start a Backup plan and even create a Template Profile.

              SyncBack / Synkron would help.

App is well-conceived & well-designed, & would be ESSENTIAL but for a fatal flaw:
the author won't reveal where the "automatic emergency backup" is stored, or allow users to designate a location.

Twice, I've lost hundreds of tabs, none of the "emergency" restore options have worked, & I can't locate the tab list purportedly created (it doesn't appear to be in AppData).

Control of--or developer communication about--this feature is badly needed.

I've only used this for a short while =after being forced to ditch Firefox and it's pretty good Tree Style Tab extension), but this is absolutely wonderful with it's customisation options, and the groups which add so much clarity and raise this to another level over that old essential FF extension favorite of mine. Creating a "ToDo-list" group, that serves as a reminder right where my eyes go to most when browsing, is perfect for an ADHD person such as myself.

How/where the TreeTab pane docks has changed in the latest Opera browser, and I can't figure out how to change it back. It used to dock under the address bar and bookmark bar, which is what I prefer. Now it docks next to the browser, taking up valuable screen space from the address bar and bookmark bar. How do I change the docking behavior?

I'm having same problem...but in my case the left side of the browser was obscured BEHIND the TreeTabs pane. I fixed this by pinning the pane, which just makes Opera skinnier than before.

Pane width can be varied, but there's a minimum setting that's way wider than I'd like.

Sure wish developer would check in to resolve these questions. I'd gladly pay for a fully functional app.

Can you please add a feature to select multiple tabs and "move to new/other window"?

How/where the TreeTab pane docks can be restored to the old behavior. To do that, paste this into the browser address bar and press Enter:

                                opera://flags/#sidebar-extensions-in-browser-sidebar

Then disable the "Bookmarks panel in the sidebar" setting.

@thomasmca Thanks, Thomas...but I'm confused about implementation. Disabling bookmarks in the sidebar is straightforward, but entering the text shown in the address bar just takes me to an Opera page marked "Experiments" & doesn't appear to actually adjust any settings. What am I missing?

That page is a list of internal Opera settings that can be disabled. Here is a screenshot of my settings, showing one disabled setting and the rest at their default values:

Sorry, that was the wrong setting. That "wrong" setting worked because I was testing the older, non-broken version of Opera. The setting below fixes the current, latest version.

@thomasmca Got it. Complete & easy fix...much appreciated!

Unrelated: any idea where the "automatic emergency backup" is stored, or how users can designate their own location?

"Emergency" restore options don't work, & frequent manual backups are needed to avoid massive data loss.

                                        Thanks again!

@thomasmca Flags are not settings but temporary switches for developers (and users who want to test them) to turn on/off features in development.
