Switching over to Opera GX from regular Opera, and I can't understand...

For switching between two browsers that are supported alongside each other by the same company, why does this have to be so goddamn difficult?

I can't import my bookmarks from regular Opera, only from Chrome, IE, Edge, Firefox, and a bookmarks HTML file.
I signed into my account, but syncing requires an extra step of a passphrase, and I don't even have any idea of where I can find the passphrase (or why I even need it when I'm already logged in with a special >12 character password I had to contrive just for Opera...)

Help me be your customer, seriously!

@patz You can paste your regular Opera profile folder into GX's one.

@patz Regarding passphrase, did you change your Opera password recently? What about the OS password?

@leocg I am in Local Disk > Program Files > Opera, and I do not see anything that could look like a profile folder, and no, I have not changed either recently.

See Help > About Opera to determine the location of your profile folder, though it is generally along the lines of C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\ where username is your username on Windows - and of course change to Opera GX for the latter's profile.
