doesn't work for me, it plays the song without the video but i have no way to download the music without being redirected to some sus page

Anyway this extension hasn't worked for me since my last complaint about it, although it always worked for me before. I didn't either get a response on my demand if it worked on other browsers aside from Opera. And in the meantime I wonder if it would work on the so-called "shorts" on YT, which BTW I also mentioned a while ago. -

tesityr last edited by leocg@jimbop if I may, I use it still today and it works on "Shorts" as well - there is a message to 'open it on youtube and press the button' so I just change the word "Shorts" to "watch?v=" and it works like a normal youtube video. For example:
Here is the video as a short that I want to save

You explained very well, thanks for the trick you shared, or you can easily download a short YouTube video by replacing the YouTube ID with any video on YouTube, including the YouTube short ID.
https://addons.vevioz.com/?id=[Youtube ID]
Replace [Youtube ID] with YouTube ID Short then press enter, and the download button will be available immediately.
I will try to make YouTube short downloadable directly with this YouTube downloader addon in a future update.

@download-lagu-mp3 thanks for the information, but for some reason when I do your steps it does not work the same way - in fact it goes to a different video - but it still has the helpful buttons along the bottom:

Doesn't work and pops up nothing but garbage!!! After forcing you to disable ad blocking software. Followed all steps and still couldn't download.
