Oh I see - you're right! Thanks for the clear re-stating of what I did, it helped me figure out what you can do - try this:

• right click the Short YT video, and Copy Video URL
• open a new Tab and past the URL into the Address bar, which goes to the full-size YT video version
• then the YTdownloader button seems to work

perhaps a toggle or option somewhere, for the user to set the typing/output speed of the answer...

it is annoying to have to wait for the display, for those who can read faster than the 'typing' display style of the answer

@jimbop if I may, I use it still today and it works on "Shorts" as well - there is a message to 'open it on youtube and press the button' so I just change the word "Shorts" to "watch?v=" and it works like a normal youtube video. For example:

Here is the video as a short that I want to save

So I just change the word "shorts" in the title to "watch?v=" and take out the "/" then hit Enter

Then I hit the Youtube Downloader button in the top of Opera and it takes me to website that has the video sitting there, just choose format you want to save video in. This is what I see as the website

it is not something specific to Opera.

you can try dusting out system, making sure fans are clear
you can try opening the case and dusting inside, if you are not comfortable with that, take it in and they can dust inside. dust collection inside contributes very much to heat. do not block fans or put on rug or cloth, or too close to walls, etc. these placements block the fans output and the intake of fans too, which all cool the system

@download-lagu-mp3 thanks for the information, but for some reason when I do your steps it does not work the same way - in fact it goes to a different video - but it still has the helpful buttons along the bottom:

I know about the size reduction, but I like max quality like this YT downloader.

But another thing, YT downoader still can't record these short verticle videoclips fro YT, although an application for the smartphone called videoder can do it on the smartphone.

Not sure what you mean by "can't record these short vertical clips from YT" - do you mean it doesn't record anything at all, or do you mean it records black screen or green screen?

If you mean a black screen, you can try disabling the Hardware Acceleration of your Browser (usually in Settings, some section like Performance or Hardware or something named like that). This will run the browser in software mode and while it 'may' run a little less smooth, it should allow you to record YT, Netflix, etc. I have to legally say: please don't use these instructions to do anything illegal...

If you can, explain what you mean - or ask on the Bandicam forum perhaps. GL with it

Sorry I misunderstood something - I thought you meant Bandicam can't record the YT browser clips. If Youtube Downloader isn't working for you, I'm sorry I don't know why. When I use it, it forwards the youtube video URL to "addons dot vevioz site ?id= something something" and I see the youtube video and some button links at the bottom, to download in MP3 audio file, or MP4 video file, some different sizes/resolutions usually. Clicking on those, it saves the file for me.

Other than suggesting to use some adblockers or something, I'm not sure what is not working with this Youtube downlader addon, sorry man

@aljaz77 if I may reply, I never saw anything like that - try installing a few adblock addons like ublock origin and no script/no script lite

all I see is a site with the video forwarded to it, and some buttons underneath with different sizes to save it as, that's all I see

Fantastic. It forwards the video to another site, but then gives you a nice readable interface showing the different formats/sizes you can get. Thank you!
