For some reason using Opera 36 on Windows 10 Home 64 Laptop when I type in: https://www.facebook.com it is being displayed as: https://m.facebook.com/?_rdr
which is the Facebook Mobile page .. How do I get this back to Desktop Mode ? ? I can not find anyway to do so on Facebook even from another browser. FYI: On my Windows XP Desktop with the same version of Opera it works correctly ... Thank you -

Try the other things first, but if you have to, install https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher-5/ and mask as Chrome for Windows on the site. Or, do it this way (with the updated string of
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/75.0.3770.100 Safari/537.36
, which you can do in the extension too if you want to use the extension instead). -

I did try clearing Cookies and Browser History with no effect. It seems Facebook must have changed something, as Opera 36 on Windows 10 no longer works properly on Facebook. But it does on my Windows XP SP3 machine (same browser Opera 36) .. I was trying to do a Repair of Opera and what ended up happening is it updated to Opera 62 .0.3331.18 .. I am running the 32 bit version on my Toshiba Windows 10 Home 64 System and Facebook now loads fine. I have no need for the 64 bit Opera at this time. I will add the User Agent Switcher as it may come in handy sometime.
