What is synchronization supposed to do? It apparently only syncs bookmarks.

New Chrome refugee here trying out Opera. What is Opera synchronization supposed to do? I noticed it synced bookmarks between my laptop and desktop. But nothing else is synced (Speed dials, tabs, settings, etc)

I can see the data for each computer here https://sync.opera.com/web/ but nothing seems to sync between computers.

I assume this is supposed to work similarly to Chrome and Firefox sync. Am I misunderstanding how this feature is supposed to work, or is something glitchy?
