Auto hide tool bar.

I have little use for the tool bar. Having it hidden until I mouse over it would give more room on web pages.

The one immediately below the tabs. It takes up space, and it would be nice if it hides until I mouse over it.

@leocg I guess he is referring to the bookmarks bar, which you can hide or show, but Autohide is not an option (I am also a bit annoyed by that, because hiding is easy, but un-hiding... you need to go into the setting (and if there is a shortcut, I cannot remember it when I need it...). It would be good to have the menu item also visible when you right click in the address bar.

Just in case it's helpful to the op, one can goto the URL
opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts
and set a shortcut to toggle the bookmarks bar. -

If I understand correctly, he means the address bar, because everything else(except bookmarks) is also bundled up on it.
I've recently noticed that even with so many things being located there, I still rarely use it, and I would also like to see an option to auto-hide it or a configurable shortcut to show and hide it similar to the one available for the bookmarks bar.
I find it quite perturbing that both web and browser developers seem equally unconcerned by the waste of screen space their menues and toolbars cause by being constantly visible in spite of rarely being used, while at the same time, the user is forced to view the actual content on less than 50% of the screen space. Between menues, toolbars, ads, margins and paddings, there's little left for the actual purpose of the whole thing. -

I agree this would be useful especially on small screens.
Browsers like yandex or edge (or Chrome on ChromeOS) have an option to autohide the toolbar at the top. You move your mouse to the top to make the toolbar appear. -

Thats works very well for me, in fact I'm planning to create user script to hide bookmark bar on certain websites e.g. YouTube, so now I have chance to try it.
