Thats works very well for me, in fact I'm planning to create user script to hide bookmark bar on certain websites e.g. YouTube, so now I have chance to try it.

Browsers like yandex or edge (or Chrome on ChromeOS) have an option to autohide the toolbar at the top. You move your mouse to the top to make the toolbar appear.

I've recently noticed that even with so many things being located there, I still rarely use it, and I would also like to see an option to auto-hide it or a configurable shortcut to show and hide it similar to the one available for the bookmarks bar.
I find it quite perturbing that both web and browser developers seem equally unconcerned by the waste of screen space their menues and toolbars cause by being constantly visible in spite of rarely being used, while at the same time, the user is forced to view the actual content on less than 50% of the screen space. Between menues, toolbars, ads, margins and paddings, there's little left for the actual purpose of the whole thing.

It would be good to have the menu item also visible when you right click in the address bar.
