How much info to Google from Chromium based Opera?

I have heard that Google uses its ubiquity to accumulate all kinds of info about you. I know it tracks your web searches in Google, and I've heard that it also tracks the web sites you visit in Chrome. And if you use gmail, it parses your emails, and and and. Google already has way more info about me than I'm comfortable with. Does anyone know whether Opera—which is based on Chromium, which was developed by Google—reports back to the Google mother ship?

No. Of course Google knows your searches, and can track your visits on sites that use their ads - they can do that in any browser. If you leave Google as default search engine they may also know what you typed into the address bar (due to suggestions) ... other than that Opera does not report to Google.
