Browser downloads but refuses to launch.

I have installed, uninstalled, then reinstalled Opera GX numerous times on my desktop and it looks as if it will work. I get the opening sound effect but then the application shuts down immediately. Normal Opera works just fine and Opera GX installed and works just fine on my surface pro. Not sure why it refuses to open on my desktop, and I don't know if anyone else is having this problem.

You want to tell us about your system? Like version of Windows, etc.

@sgunhouse I am running Windows 10 64bit, I have an Intel i5-9000k processor and an Aorus Z390 Master motherboard. Graphics card is GTX 1070ti and I use Corsair RAM though the specific kind I can’t think of off the top of my head.
