      I plan on rolling back to 58, would copying my profile folder then restoring it put my browser back to where it was with extensions, passwords and bookmarks? I've did this successfully on my windows machine but never a mac.

      The folder is located at Mac HD/users/me/application support

      I'm trying to find a easy way to do this.

        @greyeyezz Can't you just install Opera 58?

          That profile pathname is /users/me/library/application support.

            My browser is heavily customized with many different folders and sites on the bookmarks bar. I would like to copy/overwrite the entire browser profile folder so I can retain all my settings, favicons, customizations, speed dial etc. after the 58 install. Of course I will remove all instances of my previous installation using Easy Find.

              It worked! I didn't restore the entire profile folder just the three bookmark files, favicons and history files and my bookmarks bar is exactly like it was before. Happily back to 58 and mouse works and no more freezes.
