Clicking on "Jalopnik" news feed takes me to a blank page . . . but if I copy and past the address into IE, Firefox or Chrome - no problem??

Are you referring to their rss newsfeed link https://jalopnik.com/rss?

Or, are you referring to just https://jalopnik.com/c/news?

Both of those load fine in Opera for me though.

Are you using Opera's VPN or Adblocker? If so, try without them. Any extensions installed? Try disabling them.
