Any way to remove/hide the tabs toolbar?

After installing a sidebar extension to show my tabs, I was wondering if there was a way to hide the tabs toolbar at the top of the browser window. I haven't found a way to do this in any of the settings menus, or as an extension, so does anyone know of a way that doesn't involve full-screen to hide the tabs toolbar?
