And what color are menus in other programs? Opera usually gets its background colors from Windows, but unfortunately uses black for the text (foreground), so if the background is black or another really dark shade it can be difficult ...
Everything in windows is Default. The stock windows theme i haven't changed any setting yet.
Other programs are working fine no problem at all. -

I have 12.16 before with the same problem. So i tried uninstalling it completely. I even deleted the opera folder in
roaming directory and tried installing again Same Problem nothing happened. Then while i was in 12.16 it upgraded to 12.7 itself. But still the same problem.I found this same problem Here :

http://forums.pcbsd.org/archive/index.php/t-19190.html (I read on some sites that this solution worked for them)But it was in linux and they sucessfully resolved it. So, i edited their code in my operaprefs.ini and
nothing changed still stuck with those black sub-menu.[File Selector]
Dialog Toolkit=4I couldn't find any solution of this problem. Somebody please help.

File Selector is a Linux-only section. The closest thing I've seen in Windows - that didn't involve desktop settings - was a bizarre encoding or locale setting that made all the menus blank of text - but they were normal colors.
Try changing the colors in Windows anyway ... go to Control Panel > Personalization or just right-click an empty area of the desktop and choose Personalize. Click on Window Color, then the link Advanced Appearance Settings... In the dialog that appears, choose Menu on the Item dropdown, and make sure Color1 is something light. Then click Okay, close the other windows and restart Opera.
