Opera Developer 60 annoyances

Why is Opera Developer 60 constantly trying to load a lot of stuff from UDP ports?
Why does it try to load many sites whenever I pull down a bookmarks folder?
Why does it want to load a lot of Google stuff when it first opens?
That is really annoying. There is no way an ad-blocker can block things when the browser is just opening, so I am having to use my outbound firewall to stop it. That should not be necessary.

No. I mean Developer 60. I seem to have stopped it from trying to load things when it first opens, but it still attempts to load unwanted sites when I pull down the bookmarks menu and again when opening a folder there. Most of that junk with pulling down the menu is from Google sites: Google itself, google-analytics, googletagmanager, and doubleclick (which I certainly do not want).

It calls itself Opera Developer.app and it is version 60.0.3254.0. I keep getting all these attempts at communication via UDP. Since web pages are sent through TCP, what is going on with the UDP attempts? -

These connections are going to some sites that I have bookmarked, and to some Google-owned sites, some bookmarked and some not. It did not happen quite as fast this time, but still happens sometimes. -

How do I stop that attempt to get thumbnails? I do not want them. I have already locked the Favicons file in the profile to stop saving of favicons.
