Isnt that supposed to be a feature of Opera? There is clearly a setting for it, but i have no idea how to turn it on. In browsers like Firefox and Safari the switch is obviously placed next to the URL bar. help plz thx

reader mode in a later version. -

Seems that reader mode works not on all websites, but on some predefined subset, like wikipedia or news sites.

Why there is no "Reader Mode" for the desktop browser? It's sometimes really useful to read some articles without distraction and with position saving to continue later.

leocg, it would also great, if this feature would work with built-in frames, where user can read PDF ebooks, for example like this Fb2BookFree books database. There are tons of ebooks, and if I want to read them in the dark room, all this brightness of the whole page is not what user wants, you know.
