Every time when I tried to download a picture or a document, I get an error and opera crashes. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Sounds like the folder set as your default download directory doesn't exist. Go to Settings > Advanced > Browser and look for the Downloads section, make sure it is set to a path that exists and you are allowed to write (save) files to it.

I'm still getting the same problem. It will start to download and then afterwards it will crash. I could show you the photo message that I get but I do not know how to attach it to my message .
I have now managed to patch the message

@foxy01 The URL on that download looks really long. How many total characters?
Does this happen with very-short download URLs too?

I have the same problem. Picture is completely downloaded, but Opera stop and quit immediately. In download lists, Opera warns me "Download interrupted".

@foxy01 said in Crash when downloading:
It happens even when i download picture
Goto google.com, right-click on the logo and "save image as" and save it as test.png to your desktop. Does Opera crash then too?
Create a folder on your desktop named "test". Goto the URL
opera://settings/downloads
, uncheck "ask..." and change your download folder to "c:\Users\yourusername\desktop\test". Opera still crash?Change the download folder back to "C:\Users\yourusername\Downloads" and try again. Does Opera still crash?
Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not install any extensions and do not enable Opera Sync. Does Opera crash then?
