Search results in Russian

Hello, I'm new to Opera and the forum. I have the VPN on and have checked the exception for search engines, but every time I try to log into my gmail account, it gives me the result in Russian instead of English. I've tried erasing the history, restarting the computer, clicking different links, etc., but it happens every time. I'm using google. Is there a way around this? Thank you in advance!

Google thinks that connections from Opera's VPN come from Russia, Ukraine, etc. You need to ask them why.
