Speed control and download of media

I need to have control of the speed of the media playing for work and for that reaon i need media to download to my computer by default instead of playing in browser. I attached a picture of what happens when i click on the media link (audio).

I don't think there is a way to set media files to be downloaded automatically when you click on a link to them, you will need to do it manually by right clicking on the link or using the download feature in the player.
