Lack of logos in the Speed Dial:

firstlast last edited by leocgPlease Opera Forums, in the Speed Dial of Opera v49.2.2361.134358 don't appear all the logos, in LiveJournal, Blogger, YouTube, ... But appear in Opera Mini v14.0.2065.100298. Please see screenshots. That is, it worsened from an old version to a current version. Could you revise the visual of this useful resource?

old-splatterhand last edited bySame on my side, but not only on the last v49 version. I have this for a much longer time. Only older speeddial are showing correctly, not if i add new sites. Also no option to reload the logo.

Brought this up months ago, not surprised nothing has changed. This is really a great browser, but the horrible generic icons on the speed dial are just inexcusable. Even importing from desktop Opera doesn't pull the icons in.

@firstlast It's often the .ico isn't served from the correct domain root link, or sometimes is another call to another server entirely ('hot-linked). Some big websites getting this wrong, especially with multiple @ width sizes & apple icons.
The fact some work shows Opera is trying to grab them. -

@53-north also, if they're not linked correctly at the site, it could well be a security issue to have them semi-live in your browser start page (?).
