      Hi everyone,

Yesterday I decided to update my PC all around.
I updated Windows 10 to 1809 (October Update)
I updated Adobe Flash, that asked for it itself (v32.0.0.142 now)
And finally I updated Opera to the latest stable version, 58.0.3135.65

Ever since, I dont seem to be able to watch any video related content, on a multitude of platforms : Facebook, Twitter, Youtube works sometimes, same for Twich. See screens here : https://imgur.com/a/RcoSvbj
They pretty much all say that my browser is not able to read videos, not compatible etc... Except for Facebooks, that just wont start loading the video. Twitch will show me the content, but wont load the best quality. And when asked to, will always display the buffering icon.

I already tried to fiddle with the flash settings in Opera, did not do a thing.
I tried to reinstall Opera + Flash too, with no effects.
And videos work absolutely fine in other browsers (Chrome/Firefox).

      Thoughts ? Ideas ?

      Thanks !

        Anyone ?

I tried to revert back both Flash and Opera, with no luck.

I'm running out of ideas, and I would like to avoid rolling back Windows 10.

          Okay I found the solution.

I'm running Window 10 Pro N. For some reasons, Microsoft decided not to update the Media Features Pack with Windows.

Had to update it manually, and now everything works.

I still cant figure why it affected only Opera though.

Because Opera depends on the OS to play media that uses proprietary codecs.
