Strange bug. Searching the letter 'z' takes me to Amazon. Can't disable this.

I was googling the term 'z statistic' and every time I pressed enter I ended up on Amazon.
Can somebody try this? Go to the address bar on top, just type the letter 'z' followed by a space then the word 'statistic' or whatever word you like. It happens when you press space after 'z'.

That's because z is the search keyword for Amazon. If you want to search for something like z statistic you might like to put it in quotes, or to prefix it with the keyword for your favorite search engine (g for Google, b for Bing, etc.)
When searching for a phrase that you want to match exactly (rather than separated words on the same page) you should use quotes anyway.. Being a mathematician myself I know generally what a z statistic is and hence know you do want to match that exact phrase and not separated words.. Actually, I might suggest searching in Wikipedia (keyword w) as I'm not sure a search engine will give you something useful for a math term like that. Hence try w z statistic.
