What was it? Vietnam war? WW2? WW1? Napoleon war? Peloponnesus war? War for The Fire? Or maybe he just bought the title or something? -

I am following this course and also practicing on Memrise and Duolingo.
Being Portuguese and all, I'm used to a difficult grammar and having studied Na'vi for fun I'm also used to the cases. At the moment, my main issue with German is... the exceptions. Why do they exist? It would be a lot simpler if they didn't.
