No " Update & Recovery" in meny

I try to uppgrade from Opera 53.0 but I can't.
In faq it says:

1. Click the O Menu button (Windows and Linux) or Opera (Mac) in the toolbar.
2. Click Update & Recovery….
   but there is no Update & Recovery…

Wewn I download the exe-file from Opera's site it will not install.
Message is:
Error when copying file to C:......

I have Windows 10

Do I have to uninstall the version of Opera that I have? Then all bookmarks etc will go, I suppose?

No, uninstalling Opera does not have to remove your old bookmarks - it will ask. But you better figure out what the error is.

"Update and Recovery" is new. It's probably not in that old version you have. "Menu -> Help -> About Opera" is where you check for updates then. But, it seems you have some other issues to sort out first.
