https:// vs secure

I have downloaded Opera and add the extension from '360 total security software' too. However, when I click on BankofAmerica official site https://bankofamerica.com, Opera changed the https:// with the word "secure" becoming secure.bankofamerica.com
While everyone is recommending to use only https:// instead
Would the secure.bankofamerica.com shown by Opera safe? -

https:// doesn't necessarily meams that the page is secure.
Here https://bankofamerica.com/ redirects to https://www.bankofamerica.com. The same for https://secure.bankofamerica.com
Secure is part of the address https://secure.bankofamerica.com, it's not a protocol. So Opera isn't replacing anything.

In Opera, if you goto the URL
opera://settings/userInterface
, you can turn on the "Show full URL" option if you want to always see the https:// part.
