Latest version of Opera for Mac keeps on failing.

The latest version I have of Opera on my Mac is: 57.0.3098.116 (yes, it's quite funny isn't it? If their update number is that complicated it makes you wonder, doesn't it? And less surprising that it's giving problems.) It keeps on freezing up and telling me that I'm not on the internet. Every time this happens, I check on Firefox that I am indeed still on the internet, shut down Opera, re-open it, and it's OK. So, it's not a big deal, but it suggests that something is seriously amiss with this latest version of the browser.
