Tampermonkey Chrome extension blocked

@leocg This then defeats the point of using "Install Chrome Extensions" which is developed by Opera Software... The actual opera extensions especially for tampermonkey tend to be sorely outdated, Tampermonkey itself is two years+ behind on updates.

it shouldn't matter where it was installed from, i/we installed it and opera deleted/blocked it for no good reason. we cant have control over our own browsers??

Same happened to me, I was just casually surfing the web when I got a popup window informing me Opera has blocked malicious extension, or something like that. Happened maybe two hours ago.
Tampermonkey and it's scripts (that now I can't retrieve, I see no obvious way to get them back and install another script manager temporarily) are pretty much essential for me so I'd like to get it back if possible.Opera version: 57.0.3098.110
Windows version: Windows 10 1809 x64
Tampermonkey version 4.7.54 -

Same thing. Who thought it's a good idea to not to give any way for a user to unblock extensions?
I have some scripts i did for Tampermonkey and now i can't even get them to copy to unblocked version of the extension or other extensions like this. -

There needs to be a way to unblock and un-disable an extension. It's unacceptable for the browser to be able to permanently disable something from the user like this.

I think this is the last straw for me. I've put up with all the stupid decisions the Opera devs made over the past few years, but to now just blatantly disabling my addons without my permission or a way to revert the block is just plain stupid. I'm just glad I always had Firefox installed as a side browser with all the same addons and Tampermonkey scripts installed, that way I at least don't have to search for them again and it's a fast and painless switch. Bye.

@oxion9 Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. Bad decisions? Which one? Except blocking, I've seen nothing wrong. Opera is undeniable the best browser ever existed.

My Tampermonkey was blocked too. There is version in opera extensions list, but it far away from new one (4.2 vs 4.7). And you said Opera could block extensions not listed in their "store", but what about developers? Browser could block extension still not in store anyway? Is there a way to make user decide to use or not to use this blocking policy?

Same problem from the French ! "Nous pensons que cette extension est malveillante et l'avons mise sur liste noire. Cela signifie qu'elle ne peut plus vous nuire. Vous pouvez la laisser ainsi, ou bien la supprimer."
We don't care that we can install the software from the """real""" store because WE WANT OUR SCRIPT !!!The location of the extension data : %AppData%(ROAMING)\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Extensions\dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo\4.7_0
For restore all scripts from logs : https://superuser.com/questions/1149988/how-can-i-restore-a-lost-tampermonkey-userscripts
I need to go, you can try this way i will back in two days -

@iw0rb just copy everything from \AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera [Stable or Dev or Beta]\Local Extension Settings\dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo to the folder from opera web-site (m-something), it will pick up
Installed beta-version of tampermonkey from chrome extension store, so far so good -

This post shows how to re-enable Tampermonkey. -> https://forums.opera.com/post/162138
Then please export your scripts (with script storage) and install Tampermonkey BETA from the Chrome Web Store. It is not blacklisted (at the moment).

I already contacted the review team via my Opera extension developer account and they are saying, that they have a reasonable suspicion that Tampermonkey is also distributed by some malware. I'll update the Opera version as soon as possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Tampermonkey Opera update to version 4.8.5890 was unlocked by Opera. So you now can also use the Opera version: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/tampermonkey-beta/
