On Opera Beta 58.0.3135.30 on Windows 7 64 bit.
Using Squirrel Mail which puts up a UserId and Login panel.
Somehow a PASSWORD got saved as an address field entry and I can't get rid of it. It does NOT show up in Settings.
I don't have a clue as to where the saved string is saved.
Thanks for your help.

You sure you looked in
opera://settings/autofill
?Do you have any extensions that might autofill stuff?
Have you tried clearing the Squirrelmail cookies for the domain Squirrelmail is on? Does the setup of Squirrelmail have any login plugins that might have stored the last username entered or something where you accidentally typed your password in the username field and submitted? I guess you can confirm this by testing in another browser or in a standalone installation of Opera. (I used to use the login_auto plug-in for SM, which is why I thought about an SM plug-in being the culprit.)

Thanks for you assistance. I just installed
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/cookie-editor-2/I deleted all the SquirrelMail cookies.
I checked the Opera Settings for AutoFill.
I'm running Opera Beta 64-bit 58.0.3135.30 on a Lenovo Windows 7 64-bit machine.
But, when I login to SquirrelMail the password still pops up in the UserId field as a selection.
Where else could they be hiding this?
Aha! I had to clear the AutoFill for ALL TIME, not just recently.
Whew. Thanks again. Happy New Year!
