New Install Does not Open

I'm curious as to whether there is a current issue regarding downloading and installing the latest version of Opera. I've tried twice today and both times if appears to download completely but refuses to open afterwards.

@coffeelover See my post from earlier in the day.. I did the update this morning & right after that I lost Opera now have nadda, zip no Opera.. I was using IE but have now downloaded Chrome.. Last time Opera crashed like this was 2 months ago and it was out for about one month.. Color me disgusted..

I don't know if there's currently an issue, but I'd delete Opera's program files directory, download the offline installer and reinstall to make sure everything is correct on your end. I'd do this any time there's an issue with updating.
If installed for all users, Opera should be at
C:\Program Files\Opera
. If installed for the current user only, it should be atC:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\programs\Opera
.You can delete them manually via Explorer or uninstall Opera via Apps/Programs & Features. If you do the latter, make sure you don't tell it to delete your data.
When you launch the installer to reinstall, always click "options" and make sure everything is correct.

@coffeelover Day 5 still no Opera browser for me after taking their newest update....
