Google search in Opera

I am in Thailand using Opera in Windows 10.
My Google search preference is the United States, www.google.com
However, when I highlight something and click on 'Search' it comes up Google Australia search - https://www.google.com.au/search

Why is this so, and how do I change it to google.com ?

In Local State file, try changing the country code at the following line:

"location":{"country":"br","country_from_server":"BR"}
