Disable video auto-start not working in private browsing.

I configured HTML5 autoplay 0.6.2 in Opera to stop auto-start of videos, especially in Yahoo Finance. The icon appears and works in normal browsing but does not appear or work in private browsing. Is this a "feature" or a bug? I don't want these spurious and gratuitous videos to auto-start in any browser tab, normal or private, and am searching for the best solution in Firefox, Safari and Opera. Any ideas, suggestions for making this work in any Opera session?

Did you allow the extension to work in private windows? By default no extension is allowed in private windows.
