I think they may be getting a pop-up request asking them to confirm that they wish to leave a secure site/page and move/go to an unsecure page. I guess they find that annoying, but what price security ?.

I mean window.onbeforeunload event. I can`t remove this. it is very annoying

There are ways to override it using "UserJS", in the case of the new Opera you can add custom JS into pages using an extension like ViolentMonkey.
