My Speed Dial is gone!

Was using Opera earlier today and no issues. Just got back and opened Opera and bam, no speed dials. I use a bookmark manager which shows my speed dial are intact, but the speed dial page does not show. I am using the latest version of Opera (56.0.3051.102) for Mac.

Maybe you've disabled Speed Dial by chance? Check in settings.

Completely removed Opera from my system and re-installed after restart. Still no speed dial as it used to be. Yet, in my bookmarks (I use V7 Bookmarks to manage) they show up just fine. But no speed dial page.

Do you see your speed dials in the bookmarks page?

@leocg If I look in "Other Speed Dials" it's listed under my Macbook Pro (I have several other installations of Opera). For whatever reason, after a plethora of complete uninstalls and cleanings and then re-installing, I finally have a Speed Dial page back but no entries. I have to rebuild the entire thing. How exciting.

You can copy them from 'other speed dials' to 'speed dial'.

@leocg I'm rebuilding my dial manually. But I'd like to know what happened and why. Which, as a professional troubleshooter in the IT world I know is seldom going to happen (finding out the exact why that is). Thanks for the replies.
