Hello. I used to use Opera on every one of my devices (computer, phone and tablet). I had one major issue on my mobile which made me move to Chrome: many times when I return to the browser, it open a new tab for me. At the end, I found it annoying enough to stop using Opera on my devices. It's ashame because I really like Opera. There should be an option to stop this from happening.

I presume by "return" you mean using the home screen icon. I presume if you used the program list it wouldn't do that. (That is to say, the button which is usually a square that shows your previous programs.) This should really be in the Suggestions forum - I'll move it there.

If I understood correctly what you are asking, Opera for Android 48, currently in beta, has such option.
