Reinstall Opera Speed Dial Folder after Win 7 OS Reinstall

Check 'other speed dials' in the bookmarks page. Then copy the content to the 'speed dial' folder in the same place.

@leocg Thank you. There is nothing that displays as [other speed dials] in the bookmarks page.

There is only Bookmarks > Bookmarks bar > Speed Dial (with a few new SD folders I've added to the new install of Opera) and Other bookmarks, with plenty of new bookmarked sites.

Don't you see 'speed dial' and 'other speed dials' in the menu tree on the left of the bookmarks page?

@leocg There is a "speed dial" in the menu tree on the left of the bookmarks page, but there is no "other speed dial".

"Other speed dial" does not exist.

Do you see your old speed dials somewhere else?

If so, then you can copy them to speed dial.

@leocg There is no "old speed dials" or "other speed dials" anywhere that I can see in the menu tree on the left. The only folder are:

Bookmarks
Bookmarks bar
Speed Dial
Other bookmarks
Trash

Unless the old speed dial folders (from my previous OS installation) are somewhere in the system back up folder, I'd guess that the old speed dial folders are gone.

So if you search for your speed dials from the previous install, they don't show up?
If so, then they are probably lost.

@leocg Will have to deep search for the previous install. I've got a huge back up folder. Maybe I'll get lucky. Thanks for your suggestions.

Did you copy the bookmarks files from the old profile folder to the new one?
