How to change default search engines (localized versions)

Hi all.
My question is related to default search engines. I noticed they are created according to country of location, not language used. Let me show an example:I'm a German, but I live in Sweden. On my OS I have both English and German languages set, no Swedish at all. But Opera sets default search engines as google.se (Swedish) and se.wikipedia.org (also Swedish). So using default shortcuts, like w for Wikipedia gives me articles in Swedish, which I don't want.
Of course I know that I can add my own search engines and I do it that way (I have "x" defined as de.wikipedia.org).
But is it possible to force Opera to switch default search engines to other language versions? Any trick, editing configuration files etc.?
I just prefer Opera to follow operating system settings, not real location.
