Browser very slow and taking up max CPU (didn't before?)

As of 20.09.18, my Opera browser seems to be using a lot of CPU, maxing out 100%, when it didn't before. What could be the cause?

Without knowing what is opened in your Opera, it may be hard to say.
Try checking Opera's task manager to find which tab is causing it.

I suspect it might also have something to do with my Bitdefender which just updated automatically from 2018 to 2019 today. I've changed nothing else.
