Improve security and privacy ?

Is the security I gain by using Private Window and VPN on my laptop, largely negated by running the same accounts e.g. e-mail on my Android which does not have these features ? How can I improve security and become more incognito ?

Using a private window will not exactly provide any extra security, it will just avoid that your navigation history is kept and, therefore, be accessed by others with access to your account in your computer/phone.

And Opera for Android has private windows.

@meee Thanks for the quick reply Using a private window means that history, cache and cookies are immediately erased on closing the window so it is a help for security. . . . but I can't see private window on my phone - how do you do that ?

It's privacy maybe, not security.

To open a private window, just click on the tab button/icon and then on private on the top right.
