Are Site Block extensions safe?

Hi,

I have a difficult time concentrating on my work when I'm browsing the internet, so I've decided to use the Site Block extension 'Block Site'. However, in order to use this extension, I must allow it to 'Access my data on all websites'. What does this exactly mean? Does the extension just look at my browsing data, or can it also see the passwords I'm submitting, my bank account data etc.? Since the permission description leaves a lot to the imagination, I'm not sure if it's safe to use these extensions.

I hope that someone can help me out.

In order to block elements on a page, the extension needs to see what's in that page and this may include personal data.

There is usually an option to disable extensions on secure page.
