Opera 55 dosn`t always save the back button,quite often i will follow a link and when i want to return the back button is greyed out

Maybe because a new tab/window was opened?

@leocg i wish that were the case but its the same tab but on about 50/60% of the time when i want to return to my original place the back button is greyed out.Ive had Opera since V2something when it would fit on a floppy drive,ive seen some good changes and some bad ones and over the last few years it has been more bad than good,on saying that i still consider it better than the rest of the browsers.

I recently started having some problems with my Opera's back button. As soon as I visit any site, the back button stays active for some time, but becomes grey or useless. I'm so much annoyed with this problem. Please help!!

Was having the same problem. I determined that it was the "History Limiter Custom" extension causing the issue. Hope that helps.
