      When I login to Opera on https://sync.opera.com/web and i choose "All" I can see the number of bookmarks i have stored. When I choose "Bookmarks -> My folders" I should see my folders with my bookmarks.

      But all I see is the word "encrypted" and a lock - about 30 times in a column. I cannot access my folders. How can I synchronize them to the computer I actually use.

      Maybe its important to mention, this computer I use is in another country as the computer i stored my bookmarks.
      How can i access my bookmarks, resp synchronizes them to the new computer?

        What happens when you login to sync in the new computer? Did you already provide your passphrase?

          @seni
          Have you tried export them to html file?
          That shopuld do the work. If bookmarks are all you need to be backed up/transferred to another computer.
          Opera Sync often screw things up or does not work at all (in better case, hehe).

          Anyway, you can tzry this:

          http://www.hekasoft.com/hekasoft-backup-restore/

          Someone recommended it before and it did wonders for me after failing with all those manual backups from Opera tips and "how to's".
          You can choose what to back up. Great little program.

            I forget about the synchronize function of opera. I tried the normal exportfunction and save my links in a cloud or via email. That works well. Easy simple and not that complicated like the synchronize
